the yonder beyond

I am always fascinated by the yonder beyond.  What's over the crest, the horizon?  What is to come?
The yonder beyond can be romanticised, idealised.  Arriving at the yonder can be disappointing when the preconceived vision of it does not match the  reality it offers or brings but the beauty of the yonder beyond is that it is always there, always beckoning.  It is a sad day when the yonder beyond has lost its appeal.  The yonder beyond refers to a location, a sense of place but it shouldn't be limited to pure geography.  The yonder beyond is about optimism, the yonder beyond is about moving on from who you are, not necessarily only where you are.  The yonder beyond is about getting better.  The yonder beyond is about finding a better way.  The yonder beyond can be a valley but the yonder beyond is better suited to being a peak, a summit that is waiting to be reached.  The yonder beyond is the summit from where another yonder beyond comes into view, tantalising you to reach it.  Keep seeking new horizons, new ideas, new thoughts, new places, new people, new sounds, new smells, new sights.  Always pursue the yonder beyond.
